#25 German town

German town was settled by German immigrants in the 1800's and still has some of the original bldgs. and paved streets.

We bought German Chocolate at the Chocolate store!

Tourists!

Festive and fun at Schmidt's! Full deli counter and restaurant!

This place is still owned and run by the Schmidt family. It's a must see if you're ever in Columbus!

Food was wonderful!

#24 Columbus, Ohio

We stayed in the old downtown section of Columbus, in an old Bank and Loan bldg. (this is what it looked like in the late 1800's) that had been converted into a hotel. Very cool place! The old architecture downtown Columbus is beautiful!

We had a nice walk around downtown, and enjoyed everything but the rain!

This place had Amazing Pizza! I'd go to Columbus again just for that!

#23 Cincinnati, Ohio /Covington, Ky

Well we spent time in Cincinnati and Covington, mostly driving around and sightseeing. We could see the bridge and the Reds stadium from our room. We enjoyed the old architecture in the area, I especially liked the Ky side of the bridge. Tony liked the Cincinnati side, I think because that's where the casino was! Got to try a burger at Bobby Flays Burger palace, that was enjoyable. We may return here too someday, but if not, we can check it off of  places to go and things to do!
